Denver Snowmobile Expo set for October 19 - 20

WHAT: 17th Annual Rocky Mountain SNOWMOBILE & ICE FISHING EXPO

It's hot. But seasons change and it soon will be time to think snow at the 17th Annual Rocky Mountain SNOWMOBILE & ICE FISHING EXPO coming Saturday and Sunday, October 19-20 at the

Denver Merchandise Mart, Pavilion Building, off I-25 at the 58th Avenue exit.

Winter enthusiasts can bring their families to the expo to talk with representatives from Arctic Cat, Polaris, Ski-Doo and Yamaha about 2003 models and check out over 100 exhibits of accessories and clothing, winter resort destinations, ice fishing, all terrain vehicles, recreational vehicles, and all kinds of winter fun products. Ice fishing is new to the expo this year and expert Dan Armitage will be available to talk with visitors about techniques and gear to use for best results. Again this year, there will be the Snowmobile Adventure Theater where expo guests can see videos of exciting snowmobile trips and exhilarating winter trails. In addition there will be Avalanche Awareness classes scheduled for both days. The popular Swap Meet Extravaganza will be held outdoors at the expo, where all are invited to sell their used snowmobiles and accessories. Expo hours are 10 am to 8 pm on Saturday, October 19 and from 10 to 5 on Sunday, October 20. Admission is $6 at the door. Children under 12 are free. Participating exhibitors will be distributing discount admission coupons. The Expo is supported by the Colorado Snowmobile Association and is sponsored by SnoWest Magazine.
