Country Dinner Playhouse announces the 2005-2006 season celebrating the 35 year of operation with Tony-award winning musicals, two regional premieres and classic comedy. The 2005-2006 season:*-TravelBank.Com-*
The play is about Heidi who went to her grandpas to live because her aunt wanted to go away. At first her grandpa didn't like her, but then he did. Then the aunt came back and took Heidi to the city. Heidi had to live in a house with a family where she made a friend named Clare who had to stay in a wheelchair. Heidi wanted to go home so bad, that Clare's father took her home to her grandpa.
The most exciting part of the play is when Heidi and Clare's family play pirates {note: they reenact the book Treasure Island, complete with sword fights and singing).
The happiest part of the play was when Heidi saw her grandpa at the end of the play.
The saddest part of the play was when the grandpa sang a song about missing Heidi. That made me cry.
The music was nice. Heidi (Ashley Dean) was the best actor in the play. She could sing all of the songs.
Parts of the play were funny and made me laugh. Parts of the play were very sad.
The play is based on the original 1897 Bram stoker novel, the production has a decidedly "Music Hall" twist....It was adapted by T.J. Mullin just for their stage and performers. Extended from their fall, 2002 production. This story is a comic adaptation of the novel about a vampire from Transylvania.
