Roundup of Colorado Bookstores by Claire Walter
This roundup of fine Colorado bookstores was prepared by Claire Walter, author of "Rocky Mountain Skiing," a comprehensive guidebook to the top ski resorts in the region published by Fulcrum Publishing, and the forthcoming "Colorado Outdoor Activity Guide," to be published in the spring of 1995 by Country Roads Press. She also is a frequent contributor to the Denver Post travel section, where this piece originally appeared. If you're in the book business and share a neighborhood with the venerated Tattered Cover (save your money and go to the Barnes and Noble Bookstore 960 S. Colorado Blvd., 303-691-2998), you've got a high standard to live up to. In addition to topnotch used book dealers and specialists in everything from mysteries to histories, from religion to rock climbing, Colorado boasts some exceptional general bookstores. They're great stops during your travels when you need something good to read--or just places to browse because they have great atmosphere. When superstar author Stephen King was set to go on the road to promote his latest book, "Insomnia," he decided he would make personal appearances only at independent bookstores--and just a handful at that. Colorado Springs' McKinzey- White Booksellers was one of just 10 he visited in the country and the only one in the Rocky Mountain region. The store rented and filled a 1,400-seat auditorium Kingsters. The store's children's department is large, and children's events are frequently scheduled. The selection of computer books is especially extensive for a non-technical bookstore. The 10,000-square-foot store, one of the state's largest, has an open-floor plan with benches among the bookshelves. "Spend some time with us," is McKinzey-White's philosophy. Colorado's mountain towns are no literary wasteland either. Steamboat Springs' Off the Beaten Path is a sweeping open space behind a traditional Victorian storefront. In just a few years, it has grown for a 700-square-foot book nook to over 3,000 square feet of great reading. Floor paintings and murals make the mezzanine an inviting spot for children's books and cookbooks. A sunny, south-facing glassed-in cafe seats 60. "If you wander off the beaten path, you'll find the greatest things," the owners believe, "Good books. Good coffee. Good friends." They provide the first two, as well as a congenial environment in which to strike up a conversation and perhaps create some of the third. Aspen is synonymous with great skiing, fine dining, high living, power shopping, and a vibrant cultural scene, and Aspen's Explore Booksellers & Coffeehouse is a tranquil oasis in the midst of the hubbub. It is in a charming Victorian right on the only main route into Aspen when Independence Pass is closed. Though the store has been expanded several times since it moved into its current space in 1977, it remains a melange of small spaces. One former bedroom is the literature section, another holds children's books. The store opened a coffee house in 1988, one of the earliest such pairings in the state. It now serves soups and light meals in addition to coffee and pastry. Because the town is such a magnet for the country's literary and cultural community, prominent authors in town for the Aspen Institute, the Aspen Music Festival, or just to ski often stop in to hold readings and sign copies of their own books. Between The Covers, celebrating its 20th anniversary this month, caters to Telluride locals with excellent selections of cookbooks, metaphysical books, and children's books; to tourists with maps, regional books, and guidebooks; and everyone with an exceptionally large and varied magazine rack. In addition, the store coordinates books, CDs, and cassettes with Telluride's many special events. When a Native American Writers Conference or a Shambala Workshop was in town, Between The Covers stocked appropriate books. When the Bluegrass and Jazz Festivals take place, Between The Covers has the artists' recordings. The espresso bar offers fine coffee, pastry, and a quiet corner in the heart of Telluride. The Boulder Bookstore, which moved to its present location in 1991, is a Pearl Street Mall jewel. Bestsellers, magazines, CDs, and remainders near the main entrance draw tourists and locals to this a sprightly and congenial haven. In fact, even in late fall, winter and early spring, when many Mall retailers curtail their evening hours, the bookstore is one of the few late-night islands of light and retail activity. The lower level features three rooms of non-fiction. The second floor, originally the Fraternal Order of Woodmen ballroom, holds classic fiction, books on tape, and other specialties. This spacious venue seats 60 and accommodates up to 150 standees for the frequent author talks and slide presentations that this busy bookstore schedules. Children have a wing of their own. The Book End Cafe occupies the store directly to the east. It is under different management, but a door connects these two inviting establishments. The Book End has terrific specialty coffees, great desserts, and light self-service meals. If You Go... McKinzey-White Booksellers is at 8005 North Academy Blvd. in Colorado Springs. It is open from 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sundays. There is ample parking next to the store. The phone number is 719-590-1700. Off the Beaten Path is at 56 Seventh Street in Steamboat Springs. It is open seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The phone number is 303-879- 6830. Explore Booksellers is at 221 East Main Street in Aspen. It is open daily from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. The phone numbers are 800-562-READ and 303-925- 5336. Between The Covers is located at 224 West Colorado Avenue in Telluride. It is open from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. seven days a week. The phone number is 303-728-4504. The Boulder Bookstore is at 1107 Pearl Street, a short walk from the RTD station and around the corner from a municipal parking garage (validation stickers available from the cashiers). It is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. The phone number is 447-2074.

WomenSki **** by Claudia Carbone $14.95, paper 308 pages ISBN:0-915009-32-3 WomenSki, this decade's first book on skiing for women reveals why a woman can't ski like a man - and should'nt, WomenSki, by Claudia Carbone, a new groundbreaking book about skiing written specifically for women, helps women understand how they can ski better and enjoy skiing as a iW&lcng activity more than ever before. According to the author, "This book empowers women to embrace the sport of skiing and enjoy it, as much as their mates, sons, fathers, brothers and friends, Women need to be comfortable skiing their own way, without intimidation." Statistics show that more women are skiing than ever before, but enjoying it less. Though more and more women are learning to ski, fewer and fewer are staying in the sport fact, though women initially outnumber men on the slopes, they tend to stop skiing altogether within only two years. WomenSki discusses what has been happening between the time women first try skiing and the time they say "Enough!" The ski industry has begun a quiet revolution which recognizes this raality. They now agree that women are biomechanically different than men, they learn differenfly, and they enjoy skiing for different reasons. What many instructors have been preaching as "mistakes" for decades are variations in technique forced by physical factors and differences in how women approach and enjoy this outdoor sport And, finally, the ski powers-that-be are admitting that equipment from skis and boots to parkas and wind pants should be desigeed and structured specifically for women, yet are doing little about it. Women need to take charge of their own skiing, the right way, to get the most from the sport . Claudia Carbone has drawn together hundreds of interviews and questionnaires taken with women skim and blended them with discussions with doctors, physiologists, bio mechanical engineers, ski technicians, international ski racers and instructors from dozens of resorts. The bottom line is that women can dramatically improve their technique and enjoy skiing more with the right equipment, right exercise and fight attitudes. In an industry where change often occurs with the speed of a glacier, ski technicians, instructors and the ski media are alaaady applauding WomenSb and anticipating the profound effect it will have on skiing. According to Ski Magazine, WornenSki is more than "a litany of nonconstructive support-group sympathy for disgruntled female skiers. Carbone is a doer, not a whiner. This book invites women to take charge of their own equipment, their own physical and psychic comfort and theft own skiing lives." Snow Country agrees that WomenSki. is "a book every woman skier should read," And Donna Weinbrecht, an Olympic Medalist and four-time World Cup champion, concludes that "this book helps buIld confidence women need to have fun skiing." About the Author Claudia Carbone started skiing during the 6Os, when only a handful of ski areas existed in her native Colorado. High school friends took her to the top of Winter Park and eged her to follow. She's skied nearly every season since. Claudia writes a weekly ski column in Englewood and is published in numerous magazines and newspapers. She has received the North American Ski Journalists Association's highest award and was named Freelancer of the Year by Colorado Ski Country USA. -CtB- BIKE WITH A VIEW takes the easy trails to mountains, lakes, ghost towns ====================================================== Bike With A View, a new mountain biking book, brings the scenic pleasures of Colorado to beginning and intermediate riders. Bike With a View concentrates on two things: easy / moderate trails and "scenic destinations," such as ghost towns, mountain lakes and rivers. All of the 22 rides in the book are for the beginning and moderate rider; many of the beginning rides are suitable for children. The rides are all west of Denver along Colorado's Front Range and in the central mountains. Most of the rides are between one and two hours' drive of Denver. Using the maps that accompany each ride, bicyclists can visit the "still-living" ghost town of St. Elmo in Colorado's Sangre de Cristo Mountains, or take a leisurely ride to the shores of the massive Dillon Reservoir for a picnic. Every ride is illustrated with an original map and one or two photographs; there are 37 photos in the 120-page book. Bike With a View is also a mini tour book for the Colorado outdoor enthusiast. Each ride description contains a section called "While You're There," which gives numerous tips on other outdoor activities in the area, including hiking, fishing, boating, camping and cross-country skiing. Each ride is cross referenced to the "Recreational Resources" glossary in the back of the book. To order Bike with a View from the publisher, send $12.95 plus $2.25 for shipping (Colorado residents add 90 cents sales tax) to: Concepts in Writing, 1135 S. Garfield St., Denver, CO 80210. Bike With a View is also available in the Denver area at the Tattered Cover Bookstore and selected bike stores, and in Boulder at the Boulder Bookstore and at selected bicycle shops.

Did You Know that... of the 10 million people who ski Colorado each year 65% are from out of state and 7% travel from other countries? of the 2.75 million people who ski Utah each year 60% are non-residents, and of these 30% hail from California? Rocky Mountain Skiing by Claire Walter is the first guide to focus exclusively on skiing in the Rocky Mountains? The Rocky Mountains are known for snow, scenery and exceptional skiing. Now in the tradition of The Fulcrum Travel Series -- books written by locals and loaded with insider tips for natives, newcomers and visitors -- comes Rocky Mountain Skiing, the only guide to the world's most compelling winter playground. It's all here, extensive coverage of the major resorts of Vail, Park City, Aspen, Jackson Hole, Steamboat and Taos, as well as thorough descriptions of lesser- known areas such as Grand Tar ghee, The Big Mountain and Wolf Creek. A comprehensive guide to ski resorts in Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and New Mexico. Claire Walter has skied them all! Rocky Mountain Skiing by Claire Walter ISBN 1-55591-081-5, LC92-53035 6 x 9, 420 pages, maps, photographs Paperback $18.95 Claire Walter has been an active ski writer since 1967. Currently Western editor for Skiing Magazine, editor of the Berlitz Handbook to Skiing the Alps and author of The Best Ski Resorts in America, which won a Lowell Thomas Award. In 1991 she was h onored as the Colorado Freelance Writer of the Year by Colorado Ski Country USA. She lives in Boulder, Colorado, with her son Andrew. Rocky Mountain Skiing is the ultimate planning tool (except for the Colorado TravelBank =;-}....) Each chapter is a self-contained guide within a guide. Informative text on each ski area and resort community gives both a sense of the flavor of each place and the factual information needed to plan a trip there. Detailed descriptions of ski towns, trail systems and lift networks Where to stay Dining out Availability of other activities Traveling to the resorts Cross-country skiing opportunities Ski school information, including kids' ski classes Nightlife options Festival information *Mountain stats for each resort: resort elevation, top of the highest lift, number of lifts, vertical drop, annual average snowfall, etc. and much more!! An Excerpt Vail Mountain Stretching 7 miles from the Mongolia surface lift to the Cascade chairlift, this is the giant of Rocky Mountain skiing in all measures except vertical drop -- and it's no slouch in that department either, boasting a vertical of more than 3,00 0 feet. Vail is the region's leader in uphill capacity, skiable acres and, most notably, acres of bowl skiing. The Back Bowls have enough aggregate acreage to rank ahead of such huge ski areas as Snowmass and Jackson Hole, and its seven high-speed quad chairlifts are more than anyplace else in the world. Other than from the air, there is no place from which you can see more than a fraction of Vail's grandeur. The skiing is so expansive and varied that it defies easy characterization. You can spend a week there and have a different skiing ex perience each day. To envision its layout, you can "read" the terrain from left to right (or vice versa) or you can envision it as radiating from a center. The latter sounds more complicated but is, in fact, the way people tend to think of Vail Mou ntain.

Author Claire Walter's philosophy for saving money is the trade-off: Trading off skiing at a large resort with lots of lifts but high ticket prices for a small, simple one where rates are low. Trading off the hottest ski equipment or the latest fashions for gear that's a couple of years old. Vacationing during value season instead of at peak times, or staying on an economical lodge that's a commute from the slopes instead of at an expensive ski-in, ski-out place. Skiing on a Budget ($15.99 from your local bookstore or directly from Betterway Books, 800-289-0963) maps out general strategies and specific tactics on skiiing and snowboarding for less. Here are ten top tips for budget skiing: 1) Show Up at the Show: Autumn means foliage, Halloween and ski shows. These ski season previews offer oodles of giveaways, nuts-and-bolts news, buy-on-the- spot discounts and a chance at some great prizes--all in a carnival atmosphere. At some shows, every attendee even receives a free one-day lift ticket to a nearby ski area. 2) Start Smart: Letting a friend "teach" you to ski is false economy. Sign up for a low-cost (or occasionally even free) learn-to-ski or learn-to-snowboard day. This usually includes rental equipment, a class lesson and a beginner lift ticket. Many s ki areas give participant coupons on subsequent lessons as an incentive to come back. 3) Don't Feat the Gear: When you first start skiing, rent equipment to be sure you like the sport. When it's time to get your own, well-fitting boots are the first item to buy. Your local ski shop can fit you properly. The best deal is often a "packa ge," mix-and-match skis, bindings and perhaps boots designed for new skiers and well priced. Ski equipment has advanced so quickly that this year's moderately priced models incorporate what was state- of-the-art technology just three or four years ago . Shop at ski swaps and pre-season sales for good buys. Another option, especially good for children who need new gear every year, is a season-long lease. 4) Get Carded: Frequent skier programs cards reward loyalty. Typically, ski area programs charge a nominal fee, for which you get a season's worth of discounts on daily lift tickets and often a free day of skiing after every fifth or sixth paid day. National ski cards, which are aggressively hawked at the fall ski shows, net discounts on lift tickets, accommodations and meals at dozens of resorts--and sometimes on airline tickets and rental cars as well. 5) Family Values: Find a deal that matches your demographics. Most ski areas offer free skiing to preschoolers and children's rates to about age 12. A handful of resorts promote outstanding kids-free offers for children to age 10 or 12. If you have an adolescent, look for ski areas where the child's rate extends to age 14. If you've got a teenager, look for places with "youth" or "student" tickets valid to age 18 or even older. 5) Stretching Your Ski Vacation Dollar: Ski resort central reservations numbers or tour operators specializing in skiing offer the best overall deals. Well- priced lift-and-lodging packages are the basics, and you can often tack on everything else you need, including airline tickets, rental car or bus transfers, ski instruction and rental gear. Since these volume customers negotiate great fares with the airlines, you'll probably fly cheaper than you could on your own. 6) Location, Location, Location: The most expensive accommodations are luxury units right at the ski area. The cheapest are simple, functional and a shuttle bus ride from the slopes. If you have a problem getting out in the morning, you'll get in mo re skiing if you stay near the lifts. If you're an up-and-at-'em sort, a short commute shouldn't cut into your ski day. 7) The Group: America's 3,500 individual ski clubs provide money-saving benefits to more than 1.25 million skiers. They may offer economical daytrips to nearby mountains or vacations to legendary trips to major resorts at prices too good to be true. Ski club officers often get additional benefits, such as free skiing and free vacations as a trade-off for all the organizational work. You might also be able to get free skiing by volunteering to escort school, scout or church groups' ski trips. 8) Sleep Cheap: The easiest tactic is the one ski clubs use, which is to pack the most number of bodies into a condominium that management allows, to obtain the lowest per-person cost. In addition, budget dorms and bunkrooms still are sprinkled acros s ski country. If you ski the same area all season long, consider a house share, especially popular with urban singles. If you find the resort of your dreams, consider purchasing a condominium or a timeshare. If you have access to a winterized recrea tional vehicle, you can even find year-round campgrounds at or near ski resorts to really pare your lodging costs. 9) Ski Like a Contrarian: To get in the most runs for your money, be ready to hop on the morning's first lift. Avoid the major lifts when sleep-in crowed finally gets going or when ski classes load. Break early for lunch--and perhaps munch your sandw ich on the lift. Then ski when everyone else is eating. Keep going until the lifts close--of course, being sensible enough to quit for the day if you run our of gas before the lift does. 10) Work to Ski: Ski areas hire oodles of seasonal employees, ranging parking lot attendant to ski patroller, from cafeteria worker to kids' ski instructor. Various jobs have various skill requirements, pay and lift- ticket benefits. You can also volu nteer as a host orienting newcomers to your mountain or working with disabled skiers in exchange for free skiing. Ski shop employees often reap discounts on skiing and purchasing their own equipment and skiwear. --- Claire Walter is an award-winning ski and travel writer. OUTDOORS: FISHING; ROCKY MOUNTAIN TROUT FISHING GUIDE ML Publications is pleased to unveil their newest book titled, Rocky Mountain Trout Fishing. The scope of this work will allow those seeking trout in the Rocky Mountains to have an comprehensive guide which will allow the user to achieve a high level of success using a number of diverse methods and techniques. The author, Mert Leeper is well known throughout the United States as both an outdoor writer for several monthly's and as the author of Colorado Trout Fishing Methods & Techniques and Colorado Trout Fishing - Part II. Prime Fishing Locations. He also has to his credit six world freshwater fishing records for trout and American White Sturgeon. The term `Powerfishing', I think originated with Mert. He commonly fishes for 24 hours at a stretch and only quits when exhaustion or the need for food reminds him that it is time to quit. The development of his Leeper Keeper Adjusta Hook, Rocky Mountain Solunar Calendar, and the unique and novel fishing methods & techniques that he teaches at his seminars throughout the Rocky Mountains has added several new dimensions to those who follow his tips and recommendations. Mert is one of those people who has that uncanny ability to catch unusually large fish consistently. Additionally, he is an avid archery hunter with expert ability and a marksman supreme with a rifle. Overall, his outdoor knowledge ranks among the top outdoorsmen within the Rocky Mountains. This particular book fills a void which will now allow those Rocky Mountain Anglers to know the `Secrets of his Expertise'. The secrets of success can certainly be found in Merton Leeper's new book, "Rocky Mountain Trout Fishing". Rocky Mountain Trout Fishing fills the void often left out of other trout fishing books, in that, he first defines the types of lakes and associated water phenomena and then expands this information to include an all out discussion on moon cycles/weather conditions and their effects upon feeding Rocky Mountain Trout. Additional chapters contain indepth information on Flyfishing, Bait Fishing, Artificial Lures, Knots & Rigging, and Equipment. Of special note are the comprehensive chapters on Flyfishing, Baitfishing, and and the use of Artificial lures which will even wet the appetite of the most experienced trout fishing anglers. There is even a Knots & Rigging chapter which describes the knot or rig to be used and then carefully illustrates via plates how to tie them. Rocky Mountain Trout Fishing packs a lot of information between its covers and is a product which should become a part of the personal library of Rocky Mountain fishermen. Both the beginner and experienced trout fishermen should benefit from its content and recommendations throughout. Merton D. Leeper is an established author who has written two other books titled, Colorado Trout Fishing Methods and Techniques ($8.95) and Colorado Trout Fishing - Part II. Prime Fishing Locations ($9.95). Rocky Mountain Trout Fishing can be purchased at fine bookstores throughout the Rocky Mountains or mail ordered from ML Publications, P.O. Box 1682, Wheat Ridge, Colo. 80034. (303) 973-3994. It features pastoral villages nestled in the fertile fields of Hampshire, delves into the history and ancient mysteries of Wiltshire, and reveals Gloucestershire's less visited Cotswold jewels. An English Experience is a collection of fifteen descriptive pieces of writing. Each chapter is divided into four sections:

" The Tale details an original story about a chosen site - an ancient church, pub, stately home, local point of interest, person or tradition associated with a specific village.

" The Village Today is a vivid portrait of sites to see and places to visit that relate to "the tale."

" Finding Your Way offers driving directions to the village and specifies major roadways and smaller routes.

" Nearby Places of Interest invites readers to expand their travel horizons and visit other attractions near the destination village.

"Hansen heads off the beaten path in search of new travel experiences in the English countryside. … Narrated at a leisurely pace, this exploration of three predominantly rural regions provides a new twist to the traditional English itinerary. This charming travelogue will appeal to both novice wayfarers and dedicated Anglophiles."

"The Guide to Colorado Wineries" First Travel Guide to Colorado Wineries 1-303-338-8865 2685 S. Dayton Way #24 Denver, CO 80231 Colorado's wine industry is booming (with the number of wineries tripling in size this decade. Finding these wineries, most of which are family- owned small farms, takes travelers into out-of-the-way nooks and crannies of the state. The first travel guide to the state's wineries -- "The Guide to Colorado Wineries" -- has just been published by Colorado authors Alta and Brad Smith. It's the first travel guide to detail the past and present of the state's wine industry, al ong with useful information to help give the curious an insider's glimpse of this expanding industry. "The Guide to Colorado Wineries" includes a history of the state's wine industry and each of the 15 wineries, a list of their wines with adjoining space to take notes on the ones sampled by the traveler, maps showing where each winery is loc ated, a list of festivals, and a glossary of wine terms. And, since wine and food go together like hand and glove, the book includes tested recipes featuring wines from each winery. Many of the recipes are favorites of the winemakers themselves, plus a few created by Alta Smith especially for the b ook like "Almost Tropical Salmon." Colorado has its own little Napa Valley (six of the state's wines are within a few miles of each other near Palisade) but few people are aware other wineries are scattered across the state. Most of Colorado's grapes are grown on the Western S lope, but there still are several wineries on the Front Range and even some close to the Continental Divide. Colorado has some award-winning wines -- and distinctive wineries. Discovering who makes these wines provides an opportunity to explore parts of the state not frequented by many tourists. And since these wineries are basically small farms run by entrepreneurs, each has a down-to-earth feel with its own personality. Some are folksy; others are sophisticated. There is endless variety. Besides Palisade, wineries are found in places like Minturn, Paonia, Cedaredge, Olathe, Montrose, Salida, Colorado Springs, Loveland and Fort Collins. Colorado winemakers have learned their craft in many ways. Some have gone to wine schools in Switzerland or California; others have learned by doing. Most wineries offer tours, explaining how the wines are made and giving visitors a glimpse o f the process and equipment. Of course, there always is a wine tasting. "The Guide to Colorado Wineries" is priced at $9.95 plus tax. The 96- page book is sold at wineries, at festivals featuring Colorado wines, at many bookstores around the state (among them both Tattered Cover stores in Denver and all 25 Barnes & Noble stores in Colorado), liquor stores that highlight Colorado wines, or from the authors by calling 1-303-338-8865 or writing to 2685 S. Each cabin, cottage and lodge property has its own page that contains a description of its special features and facilities, reservations policies, travel directions, current price range, address and phone information, whether pets are accepted, elevation, credit cards, season dates and fun things to do in the area. "I've known the authors, Hilton and Jenny Fitt-Peaster, for 10 years, and can assure you that no two people have traveled as many miles in this state seeking these sometimes hidden treasures. Hilton and Jenny have done all the work for you!" says Rich Meredith, Executive Director of the Colorado Tourism Board. Since 1977, the Fitt-Peasters have been executive directors of the nonprofit Colorado Association of Cabins, Lodges & Campgrounds. The Fitt- Peasters are the only people who possess such an extensive knowledge of these vacation spots. Each summer they drive 8,000 miles around Colorado visiting these properties. If someone says to you, "We once stayed at a wonderful place called 'Paradox Lodge' but we can't remember what town it's near." you can simply look it up in the book's index. In 1980, Hilton and Jenny began writing and publishing the annual Colorado Directory of Cabins, Lodges, Camping, Fun Things To Do. In 1988, they founded the Colorado CabinResort Association, which merged with the Colorado Campground Association in 1991 to become the Colorado Association of Cabins, Lodges & Campgrounds of today. Hilton is actively involved with tourism on the state level. He is a charter member and past chairman of the Colorado (state) Tourism Advisory Council, a founder and vice president of the Tourism Industry Association of Colorado, and was given "1985 Colorado Individual Achievement Award" by the State of Colorado. Jenny is the only licensed real estate broker in Colorado specializing exclusively in cabin, lodge and campground businesses statewide since 1983. In 1989, the State of Colorado awarded Hilton and Jenny its "Special Colorado Tourism Achievement Award" for the Colorado Directory they author. "After traveling extensively in Colorado looking at cabin, cottage and lodge businesses, we wanted to write a book so we could include more information (a page vs. a paragraph) about each property than we could in our Colorado Directory." "We're already working on our next book which we're thinking of calling Colorado's Modern Campgrounds & RV Parks - Enjoy Comfortable Facilities Hosted by Family Owners. Or, Colorado's Full-Service RV parks & Campgrounds - Discover Comfortable Camping at Affordable Prices. Help us think of a better name. Give us your suggestions, please," Hilton said recently.
