The Premiere Ski & Snowboard Pass in the State is Available

Denver, CO, September 9, 2002…Colorado Ski Country USA announces the 2002-2003 Colorado Gold Pass. The Gold Pass was established over 25 years ago and is the premiere ski and snowboard pass in the state of Colorado that offers pass holders unlimited, transferable skiing and riding at all 24 Colorado Ski Country USA resorts throughout the entire 2002-2003 season.

Gold Pass members are entitled to direct-to-lift access privileges at most Colorado Ski Country USA’s 24 member resorts for the entire 2002-2003 winter season, with no blackout dates.* The Gold Pass is also completely transferable to family members, friends, important clients and business associates, and valuable employees.

For the 2002-2003 season, Colorado Ski Country has enhanced The Gold Pass Concierge Service providing personalized service and insight to the best ways to maximize the Colorado mountain resorts experience. Regular electronic tips and insider information will be sent via e-mail and a specially-designed web site for Gold Pass members will include maps, lodging options, restaurant reviews, and more. Revenue from Gold Pass sales fund Colorado Ski Country’s marketing programs and enables the trade association to support and increase participation in the ski and snowboard industry in Colorado.

Participating resorts are: Arapahoe Basin, Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Crested Butte, Durango Mountain Resort, Eldora, Howelsen Hill, Keystone, Loveland, Monarch, Powderhorn, Silverton*, Ski Cooper, Snowmass, SolVista, Steamboat, Sunlight, Telluride, Vail and Winter Park.

*(Silverton Mountain will run on a reservation-based system to be announced.)
